Our Mission
Congolese Community (Cocom) North
Carolina/Raleigh is a 501 (C) (3)  public charity
organization dedicated to develop and promote
creative solutions to problems that impede, social,
educational, cultural, and entrepreneurial dedicated
to develop and promote educational, cultural, and
entrepreneurial development of Congolese children
and families living in the triangle
area(Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill.).  
Together with others who are striving to enhance
empowering, nurturing, and supporting our
members' wellness in the area of education,
employment, business, socialization in a culturally
diverse environment to allow an effective
integration in the host country, the United State of
America, as well as develop partnership and
collaboration between the United States and the
Democratic Republic of Congo.

Our Vision
We want to create a community whose members'
life quality standard excels such as the society as a
whole is affected by their generosity, civic
engagement, and sense of collaboration in the spirit
of unity.

Our Values
The community's wellbeing is a function of the
individual person and/or the family welfare;
consequently we respect each other while
consolidating the unity, integrity, humility and
honesty.

To encourage high standard achievement of children
and adults by enhancing knowledge through learning,
conference, forum discussion and exploration.

To implement reading, writing, math tutoring, and
ESL for French speaking.

To help towards the integration of the members in
the mainstream of the host country.

To promote socio-economical and cultural exchanges
between RDC and USA.

To lead, through multi-target actions in partnership
with different organs, the integrated development of
the DRC.

To serve as advisers, partners, and act as catalysts
with DRC with respect to the implementation of
social and economic programs.

To encourage Congolese to be good law-abiding
citizens in the USA.
