COCOM History
The first Congolese citizen arrived in
Raleigh near the year 1960. A small
community led by Dr. Nzuzi and Dr. Konde
regrouped few Congolese living in the city.
By the year 1978, the community had a
bylaw and statute written.

Carolina/Raleigh is a 501 (C) (3)  public charity
organization dedicated to develop and promote
creative solutions to problems that impede, social,
educational, cultural, and entrepreneurial
development of Congolese children
